One Month Down
Or as Mike would put it, only 47 left to go. As of today, we have lived in Columbus for exactly one month. In which time I have done nothing but sit around watching TV and movies. That's the life.
Today, we took Bean to the nearby park for a walk around the pond there. It turns out it's an even cooler area than I thought. On the other side of the pond are some smaller trails that lead down to the river behind it and we explored them a little bit. Then I forced Bean to have his first "beach" experience, like any good parent would do. Video further down. Sidenote: Bean's afraid of water. And ducks.
Then, after dinner, we went to this ice cream store, which I have never heard of, but is apparently a Big Deal up here. Graeter's. I had a chocolate ice cream with chocolate chips and peanut butter cookie dough, which was delicious, but not as delicious as the coconut and chocolate chip (shut up, Katherine, it was delicious) that Mike got. I look forward to going back many, many, many times to try the rest of the flavors.
Otherwise nothing has been going on. Literally nothing. I sit around all day and fight off boredom. I can't wait until I'm suffocating under schoolwork again.
I know you people don't care what I have to say. Here's Corgi-child footage.

Wow, that's pretty. I thought the northeast was just industrial wasteland; I'll admit, I'm more than a little disappointed.
I'll find some industrial wasteland to post next week.
Update: Mike informs me that I am /very/ wrong. We have 45 months left.
